Our Mission
At Tiny Treasures, our mission is to nurture the unique potential within each child through family-centered services that empower families to develop their skills and promote their child’s growth and development.
Our goal is to provide support and services as early as possible to enhance the child’s development and help them meet their developmental milestones.​
Our Staff
Jo Ann Nance, M.Ed, BS
Owner/Early Interventionist
Jo Ann Nance earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master’s Degrees in Elementary Education from Francis Marion University. She also holds a second Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision for K-12.
She has dedicated her career to working with children for over 34 years, having worked in the Florence public schools for 28 years as a teacher and administrator before retiring and becoming an Early Interventionist.
“As an educator, I realized the value of identifying children’s needs early on and providing services at the earliest age possible to help them reach their potential. As an EI, this was a perfect opportunity for me to work one-on-one with children and serve families in a way to continue to make a difference.”
Jo Ann is a native of Florence. She has been married for 35 years and has 3 adult children. She enjoys family time, playing tennis, reading, and watching the Atlanta Braves play baseball.
